The Veradius Neo offers superb image quality with its flat detector, delivering consistent quality from one edge of the picture to the other with no distortion. It offers a resolution of 1560 x 1420, and it can perform digital subtraction angiography, roadmapping, and high quality fluoroscopy. Processed images may be stored or, as an option, be transmitted wirelessly via a picture archiving communication system (PACS) and radiology information system (RIS). Seeking the best image with the lowest dose, this device has beam filters, removable grids, and sharp pulses for efficient, reduced-dose operation.
